Finalists: AYE Trio, Chiaroscuro Quartet, Echappe String Quartet
The Galante Prize for Chamber Music was established by the Alexander String Quartet ( ASQ ) for high school chamber musicians.  2014 marks the first year the prize is awarded.    In a rather unusual arrangement, the prize winner was decided in a final round of competitions 3 days earlier on February 13, but the result was not revealed until after the Sunday performance.

Chiaroscuro String Quartet took the prize.  Congratulations!
