Napa Valley Festival del Sole 2014
Napa Valley Festival del Sole is a 10-day summer premier music and lifestyle festival. To be held from July 11 to July 20 in Napa Valley, California, it features performances by world-class artists, gala events at stunning wineries, resorts and estates, and of course, wine and food. It will also feature some of the world's foremost emerging young artists. As the winners of the 2014 Bouchaine Young Artists Award.
On May 18, 2014, a "preview party" for the event was held in Fair Oaks, California. My brother and I were invited to perform.

I was first to play in Mr. Fleisher's masterclass. I played the 2nd and 3rd movements of Beethoven's Sonata op. 81a ("Les Adieux"); the fact that I'd left out the first movement became a bit of a joke amongst us!

The day before he left, he sat outside the recital hall at this table, signing countless CD's, programs, and books. Luckily for us pianists, we got to skip the long line and talk to him directly!
